San Francisco’s street signs include the block number. They all start at the 000 block. And, most streets and terminated with an END sign. Most, but not all.

Here is a collection of the END Signs, mostly gathered during my walks around home.

I could easily find an END block to Noe Street, which is one end of our block on 23rd. But, it took me months to find an END to Castro Street which at the other end of our block.There’s an END to Dolores, but not Guerrero. Or, maybe that street has an official END, too, but I just haven’t seen it.
